What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics PCB Design Engineer. The role involves designing and developing PCB layouts for maritime Defence projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Altium PCB design and analog schematic design, with the ability to work independently. Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility for SC clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PCB layouts using Altium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct design reviews, testing, and validation of PCB layouts.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document design processes, methodologies, and results.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Altium for PCB design.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility for SC clearance is mandatory.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the defence or naval sectors.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) considerations.
