What will you be doing? 

As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will join our Harlow team to support our activities within the UK Defence sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• You will be moving directly into an existing team to assist in delivering engineering knowledge across military level projects;
• Producing system/sub-system test plans and producing the relevant documentation for these;
• Following test procedures from initial requirements through to verification stages.

Who are we looking for? 

• An individual with experience within model-based design;
• An individual with weapon systems knowledge and/or similar experience within UK Defence fields;
• An individual with 5+ years of proven experience within model-based systems engineering;
• An individual proficient in using both MATLAB & Simulink for subsystem design;
• An individual who has experience within requirements management using relevant tools such as IBM DOORS;
• An individual who is also familiar with software coding using C and/or C++

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Must have a Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering;
• 5+ Years of Experience within Safety Engineering, highly preferential if this is within the UK Defence sector;
• Due to the nature of the project and this project being within the UK Defence Sector, this comes with the mandatory requirement of yourself having SC level security clearance within the UK. Therefore, for this role, we need individuals who are either, already SC Cleared and/or sole UK nationals;
• Must hold the full right to work within the UK
