What will you be doing? 

As a Structural Engineer , you will join our team in Bristol to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Create compliant steelwork platform designs.
  • Liaise with building layout and piping teams.
  • Work with CAD designers on drawings and models.
  • Manage engineering changes per company procedures.
  • Analyze and verify input data.
  • Design fastenings and anchorages in concrete.
  • Develop substantiation reports and review technical documents.

Who are we looking for? 

  • Individuals with relevant experience within Steelworks.
  • Individuals with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
  • Experience working with industrial experience.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Structural,Civil or Nuclear Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Proficient in 3D modelling and structural analysis tools.
  • Skilled in designing reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures.
  • Familiarity with Pressurized Water Reactors (PWRs) is a plus.
  • Skilled in designing reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures.
  • Understanding of Eurocodes for civil engineering, especially fastenings and anchorages in concrete.
  • Skilled in designing reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structure.
