What will you be doing? 

As a System engineer, you will join Glasgow team to support our activities within the Defence sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Work on the left-hand side of the V-model, applying a holistic approach to system thinking and functional analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth system-level design analysis to assess how changes impact other components and systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed system requirements specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines to ensure system integration and functionality.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential system failures.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on system-level design and change impact assessments.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with specific systems engineering methodologies (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754)
