What will you be doing? 

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will join Coventry team to support our activities within the Automotive  sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for powertrain components.
• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production planning and execution.
• Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to enhance product manufacturability and process reliability.
• Monitor and improve production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, providing technical support to the production team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintain detailed documentation of process changes, improvements, and standard operating procedures.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive manufacturing
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge and application of PFMEA.
