What will you be doing? 

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will join the team in Derby to support our activities within the Aerospace sector

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Provide design support for various aspects of the Ultra Fan project, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions.
• Utilize PLM-TC engineering author access to manage and track design data.
• Proficiently use NX for 3D modelling and design analysis.
• Lead and contribute to Design Technical Assessments (DTAs) to ensure design integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in design engineering.
• Active GAD account.
• Proficiency in PLM-TC engineering author access.
• Strong proficiency in NX for 3D modelling and design analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
