We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team working on cutting-edge defence technology, specifically in the areas of radar, sonar and communications systems. This role offers a hybrid work environment, with our main office located in Crawley.

In this position, you will be integral to our system design and verification efforts, particularly within the IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification) framework. You’ll contribute to all stages of the test process, from development to execution, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write comprehensive test cases for radar/sonar systems.
  • Support the test setup and environment preparation.
  • Execute and monitor tests as part of the Verification Test Campaign.
  • Conduct defect reporting and produce detailed test reports with in-depth analysis and debugging.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components

 

Technical Skills Required:

  • Background in Systems Engineering, with specific experience in radar and/or sonar systems desirable
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Spectrum Analysers.
  • Familiarity with DOORS for requirements management and JIRA for issue tracking (preferred).
  • Experience with IVVQ processes, ensuring systems meet design and operational requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring systems meet end-user expectations.
