As a consultant you will join our software team to support our activities within the Defence sector. We are seeking three skilled Software Engineers to join our team based in Glasgow (hybrid). You’ll be working on cutting-edge optronic systems within the defence sector. This is an excellent opportunity for mid to senior-level engineers looking to make a significant impact in a challenging and rewarding environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software for advanced optronic systems.
• Program and debug using C++ in Visual Studio.
• Work on Windows DLL and static library programming.
• Handle tasks related to both 32-bit and 64-bit OS, including conversions.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C++.
• Strong experience with Visual Studio.
• Expertise in Windows DLL and static library programming.
• Experience with both 32-bit and 64-bit OS and conversion processes.
• Must be eligible for security clearance due to the nature of the defence project. (5 years spent living in the UK with no gaps of 3 consecutive months in this period)

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of register level control.
• Experience interfacing with FPGAs.
• Software engineering experience in Defence,Aerospace,Automoitve or any industry that requires safety critical standard adherence 
• Familiarity with Google test/mock frameworks.
