Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As a Software Developer, you will join Derby team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

Who are we looking for?

• Understanding Requirements with respect to feature design.
• Identifying and utilising associative modelling generative approaches.
• Developing changes in configuration management environment as per standards.
• Knowledge of the design and manufacturing of RR components, including turbines, blades, vanes, and related features like aerofoils, would be beneficial.
• Creating and updating release and user documentation as per RR process.
• Creating and maintaining proper test cases that ensure full coverage through regression and unit tests.
• Create the Trials/Production package and deploy to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in NX modelling and NX Open C# or KF.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably Scrum.
• Familiarity with RR Component Designs and related features.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
