Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As an Automotive Homologation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the homologation process for the vehicles and components, ensuring compliance with global regulations and standards. You will work closely with internal teams and regulatory bodies to secure certifications and approvals required for market entry

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Manage the homologation and certification process for vehicles and automotive components.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations, standards, and specifications (e.g., ECE, FMVSS, EPA).
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to secure necessary approvals.
  • Provide technical guidance on regulations during the design and development stages.
  • Prepare and submit technical documentation, test reports, and application forms.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations, standards, and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing) to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automotive homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of global automotive standards and regulations (ECE, UNECE, EPA, etc.).
