Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work within the defence sector on cutting-edge Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about developing innovative software solutions for advanced camera systems and video signal processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop serial interfaces connecting advanced camera systems to text-based terminal displays.
• Use IBM Rhapsody for model-driven development, contributing to the design and implementation of complex software systems.
• Write and optimize software in C++ using Visual Studio, ensuring efficient performance for video signal processing and transmission.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet high-security and performance standards for defence systems.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with video signal processing or defence-related systems.
• Expertise in C++ and Visual Studio.
• Experience with Rhapsody Modelling for systems engineering.
• Familiarity with ISR systems and camera/surveillance technology.
• British citizen, eligible for security clearance (essential for the role).
• Ability to work onsite in Glasgow 3 days a week, with a hybrid work model.
