Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As a Firmware Engineer, you will join our Crawley team to support our activities within the Industrial Electronics sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Development of a leading new product which will use two different micro-controllers in the same product;
  • To extract all data from the firmware data packet, perform relevant validation of this data and then use NAND FLASH to store this;
  • Development of a Bootloader for both micro-controllers.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Must have a Masters or Bachelors degree within Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree;
  • Must hold the full right to work within the UK and be able to work in Crawley as you will be required to work on-site;
  • Must have experience with STM32 Micro-Controllers;
  • Must be proficient in Embedded C/C++;
  • Must have experience with Bare Metal Programming;
  • Any experience using NAND FLASH will be preferable;
  • Experience within testing environments is also preferable.
