Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As an Electronics Test and Verification Engineer  you will join our team in Birmingham  to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Design and develop electronic circuits, systems, and components, from concept to production.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for electronic devices, systems, and subsystems, ensuring thorough verification and validation of design specifications and requirements.
• Prototype and test electronic circuits and assemblies, utilizing laboratory equipment and instrumentation to validate design performance and troubleshoot issues, iterating and refining designs as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Document test procedures, protocols, and findings in clear and concise reports and presentations, communicating results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Who are we looking for? 

• Background in electronics design, testing, verification, or related roles, with a strong expertise in hardware design and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, VHDL/Verilog) and experience with FPGA design and development is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
