Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As a Manufacturing Commissioning Engineer, you will join Bristol team to support our activities within the Areospace sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Perform and document tests to confirm that equipment meets specified performance standards and safety regulations
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during commissioning to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend modifications to enhance equipment performance
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for commissioning protocols, testing procedures, and results in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years in manufacturing commissioning or a related field, with experience in the setup and optimization of production equipment
  • Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation software
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO)
  • Knowledge of quality systems and root cause analysis
