Job Description

We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for Hardware Systems Engineers to join ALTEN’s team supporting the iconic Typhoon project—Europe’s largest collaborative defence program. As part of this high-impact project, you’ll work hands-on with mission-critical hardware systems in defence aerospace, shaping the future of air combat capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of hardware systems onto the Typhoon platform, ensuring seamless integration with other mission systems.
• Manage and refine requirements for hardware systems to meet exacting defence standards.
• Perform hardware verification and validation activities, ensuring all systems comply with safety and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mission systems specifications and support platform readiness.
• Provide technical insights and ensure adherence to quality standards within the defence aerospace industry.
• Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot integration challenges to support project success.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in hardware engineering, ideally within defence or aerospace sectors.

• Strong background in hardware integration and verification for complex systems, especially in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with requirements management tools and processes, ensuring hardware meets system specifications.
• Must be a sole British citizen due to security requirements.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
