Job Description

What will you be doing? 

We are seeking a skilled Body-in-White (BIW) Process Engineer  with experience in BIW processes within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Process Manufacturing and demonstrate expertise in process design and FMEA analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to key projects in a dynamic environment focused on high-quality automotive manufacturing.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Design and develop efficient Body-in-White manufacturing processes using Siemens Process Designer.
  • Conduct and manage Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (Process FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks in the BIW production process.
  • Oversee the complete delivery and installation process, ensuring that manufacturing meets quality standards and project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to implement and optimize BIW processes.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of equipment and tools for BIW manufacturing to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze and improve existing BIW production processes, focusing on safety, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Maintain detailed process documentation, including process flow charts, work instructions, and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Body-in-White (BIW) process, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in Process Manufacturing environments.
  • Strong skills in Process Design, particularly using Siemens Process Designer or similar tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Process FMEA for BIW processes.
  • Solid understanding of automotive manufacturing standards and safety regulations.
