ALTEN Ltd is a leading engineering and technology consulting company, dedicated to supporting pioneering projects within Aerospace, Defence, and Automotive sectors. We are seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test Engineer with expertise in satellite components to join our team in an exciting space project. This role will focus on the electrical aspects of satellite integration, specifically harness wiring, control panels, and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).

Role Overview:


In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all electrical systems. You will play a crucial role in bringing together the satellite’s electrical infrastructure, working hands-on with harness wiring, control panels, and critical EGSE.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Lead assembly, integration, and testing activities for satellite electrical systems, with a focus on harness wiring, control panels, and EGSE.
  • Design and implement test setups for electrical components, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Oversee the preparation, integration, and validation of Electrical Ground Support Equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions on satellite electrical subsystems.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in harness wiring, control panel assembly, and EGSE for satellite or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic testing, troubleshooting, and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, harness layouts, and wiring standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to technical details.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
